Huckberry Retail Design Project
10-week Commercial Design Studio | Tools Used: Revit, SketchUp, Lumion
This project involved designing a retail space for Huckberry, with a focus on applying interior design theory and technical skills to solve a real-world commercial design challenge. Starting from a programmatic brief and progressing through full design development, the goal was to create a space that reflected Huckberry’s brand identity while optimizing functionality and enhancing the customer experience.
Throughout the project, I explored concept formulation, material and finish selection, lighting design, and fixture planning. I also analyzed existing site conditions, applied knowledge of building codes, and studied sales psychology to influence layout and customer flow. Client programming and brand alignment were central to the design process.
Design development and visualizations were executed using Revit for drafting and construction documentation, SketchUp for conceptual modeling, and Lumion for final renderings.
